PACE PLAYLISTS
If you're a newer runner just starting out and learning about pacing, running to music tailored to your specific pace can be a game-changer! All songs are have a certain "beats per minute" (BPM) that basically describes the speed of the beat of the song. You can actually align your cadence (steps you're taking while running) to the BPM of a song to a produce a certain running pace. When you are running to a beat, you are able to learn and practice what it feels like to run at your desired pace. Also, it beats looking down at your watch all the time (and is a great alternative if you don't have a watch!).
Check out these pacing playlists for your next run, whether you're trying to lock into an easy pace or find a comfortable tempo and stay there!
